When Time Stands Still

How badly to you want your prayers answered?

The waiting makes you stronger.

We all come to that time when we look up into the heavens and ask, why hasn’t my prayer been answered? We go to God so full of faith, but when we don’t see answer come, we begin to doubt. That’s when God wants to see what you’re made of. Will you continue to believe or walk away in sadness?

We have to be like David and talk to ourselves. Why are you cast down, o my soul? (Ps 43:5) Bless the Lord, o my soul. (Ps 103:1) Return to your rest, o my soul. (Ps 116:7) Praise the Lord, o my soul. (Ps 146:1) The power of positive thinking is actually a principal from the Bible. Have a good conversation with yourself and believe. That time when it seems like nothing is happening is the time to show God that you still know who He is. He is not a God who can lie so His promises are real. When time stands still, start talking to yourself and build up your faith. That’s the stuff that brings the answers.
