The Ultimate Thanksgiving Choir

Join in the global song of thanksgiving

After Nehemiah returned to Jerusalem to rebuild the walls of the city, he planned a fantastic celebration when they were finished. It was a time when a job performed in the temple was handed down to generations. The sons of the singers continued to be singers. They lived in villages around Jerusalem and formed choirs. Nehemiah had two thanksgiving choirs bless the walls. One choir walked the walls in one direction and another choir the opposite direction.

Can you imagine the sound of that? Choirs of voices surrounding the city offering thanksgiving praise to God. It’s such a beautiful image of how we should honor God for what He has done for us. Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Sing thanksgiving songs and bless His name. You join your voice with others around the world and throughout heaven, declaring thanksgiving for the greatness of God and His kindness to us. As Nehemiah’s choirs circled the city, we join together to form a global force of celebration and praise, not for an hour or a day, but for eternity.
