It’s Time To Step Out

in faithSometimes we cry out to God to do something when God has put it in our hands to manage. We are told to make disciples, heal the sick, raise the dead, and preach the gospel. We’ve been given all that we need, we just need to do it.

I love this passage: And the Lord said to Moses, Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward. (Gen 14:15) He wants us to step out in faith. He wants us to stop learning and start doing. Faith without works is dead. Faith with works will change the world.

Unfortunately, fear holds us back. What if I step out and it doesn’t work? Remember who you are. A royal heir, seated in heavenly places with Christ. You have all the power of heaven within you. Build up your faith by remembering who you are, then step out. If it doesn’t work the first time, try it again, and again. Some famous ministers in healing have said that they prayed for hundreds of people before they saw a miracle. They just wanted it so much that they kept stepping out.

What are you waiting for? Go forward.

Thank you for these excellent words! I am going through this myself. I am learning to say “so what” or “who cares”…if I fail. And it it’s His will, He won’t let me. This post will help many others as well. Thank you : )
