Jesus Is The Cornerstone

about Jesus ChristI’m not a builder, but I do know that if the foundation of a building isn’t laid straight, if the angles aren’t precise, the structure will be weak.
Jesus is called the cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple of the Lord. (Eph 2:21)

Jesus is central to God’s plan. Without Him, there’s nothing to believe in. Doing good things, meditating on peace, and feeding the poor are all aspects of life that should be built around the cornerstone, not replace it. Without Jesus, all we have is our own works, and that will not measure up against the perfection of salvation that Jesus died for.

Salvation is through Christ alone. For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Thes 5:9) We cannot skirt around the fact that we are sinners and He died for our sins.

The wonder of God is that He planned creation from the very beginning for us to be with Him, and Jesus is the way that will happen. The only way to God is through Him. I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (Jhn 14:6) When you find Jesus, you find everything.
