Nothing Is Going To Happen Until You Believe

Faith is trusting that God will do what He says He will do.

Believe He is who He says He is.

Whether you’re wrestling with the question of God for the first time, or grew up in church, nothing is going to happen from heaven until you believe. But without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
 (Rom 11:6)

So first, you have to believe that God is. If you can’t believe that, then you have nothing to believe in. Start with God. Believe that He is who He says He is–massive, loving, merciful, the Creator of all things.

Then, you have to believe that you are a sinner. We all are, but some of us have been forgiven. Believe that Jesus died so your sins will be blotted out completely. Believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He rose from the dead for you.

Believe that when you give your heart to Jesus, God will bless your socks off if you diligently seek Him. That means to want to know Him more all the time. When you read the Bible, you want to understand more of who God is. The more He shows Himself, the more you will want. Your faith will open impossible doors.

He has so much blessing to give you, but nothing will happen until you believe.
