How much of God’s word is real to you? Is some of it easy to believe and the rest just too much? That could be why you’re not seeing answered prayer. Time to go back to 2Timothy 3:16. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. So what part of the Bible doesn’t fall into all?
The thief on the cross was welcomed into paradise with Christ because he believed, but he did not walk in the fullness of that salvation. There’s believing for salvation, and then there’s walking in the fullness of faith. The first gets you into heaven when you die, the second brings heaven into your life now. For that to happen, you have to believe His word. What He says is true. If He promises to take care of you and keep you safe, then He will, if you trust Him to.
It’s time to take a stand. Either believe in Him or not. If some part of the Bible speaks to you as truth, then you have to believe that the whole thing is truth. You can’t pick and choose. It’s all or nothing. And when you chose to believe it all, I mean really believe, then heaven will become a part of your daily life and change you forever.
