We need to thank God in all things, not for all things. He is not the author of fear or pain or grief. Jesus came to bring life, to heal and restore. When it feels like our world is out of our control and everything is going wrong, we blame God, but if we dissect the actual causes, we see that He was not the One who motivated all the bad decisions in the first place.

God is always good. His love for us never stops. His love for us is greater than anything we can imagine. If we lose our job, God is still good. If the kids get sick, God is still good. If the news reports economic fear, God is still good.

Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken nor his descendants begging bread. (Ps 37:25) When we live righteous lives, He promises to take care of us. Through all the trials of life, God is good and promises to take care of us.

Your opinion doesn’t change the fact that God is good and will always be good. Learn to thank Him and honor Him all the time, especially when it’s hard. On a cloudy night, there are still stars in the sky and God is still good.
