We are made to love God

There is something very moving about looking at our salvation from God’s perspective. Jesus’s death on the cross was intentional, planned before the foundations of the earth for a reason. He has drawn us to Himself because He adores us and it is His goal for us to understand that and love Him back.

But know that the Lord has set apart for Himself him who is godly. (Ps 4:3) He doesn’t want anyone to perish, but the whole of creation was to gather us into His kingdom. When we sanctify ourselves through His sacrifice, we enter that select number that He has set apart for blessing and protection.

I belong to that group. When I think of that, my heart does a little dance. He has set me apart with His hand on me to show me my path and destiny that leads right to His heart. Whoot! That makes me happy! There’s joy in that.

It’s not a private club. Anyone can join. Never worry that you will be left out. Give yourself to Him. Receive salvation through Jesus’s death on the cross and enter into His grace and blessing. The more you trust Him, the more you see why you’ve been set apart.
