Don’t we all wish we could go back in time and change some bad decisions we made? Some of us would make minor adjustments and others would make huge changes. Thankfully, God knows all about us and our past and He still loves us wildly.
There’s nothing that you can do to change how much God loves you, so don’t beat yourself up about what you’ve done or where you’ve been. God has a plan for you that includes who you are and what you’ve come out of. He has a way better future for you than you could even dream of.
The key now is to hook up with the Holy Spirit and let Him help you make decisions going forward. He is all wisdom and He’sĀ brilliantĀ at helping. Don’t let this age of instant everything drive you to make quick decisions. Be still, hear the still small voice inside that will lead you along the paths of righteousness. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. (Jam 3:17)
When God gives direction, He doesn’t order, He is gentle. He is merciful because He knows we may not understand why He’s directing a certain way. Listen to Him anyway. Your decisions will be a lot smarter.
