When you pay attention while you read the Bible, you’ll see hints about what attracts God to answer prayer. I love this verse from Psalms, I waited patiently for the Lord, and He inclined to me. (Ps 40:1)

He loves it when we demonstrate faith. Not only was David waiting on God, he waited patiently. Demonstrating aspects of God’s Spirit gets His attention. I suspect that when we demonstrate love, joy, peace, goodness, kindness, gentleness, and self-control that He inclines to us as well.

I think an alarm bells goes off when we act like Him and He leans in to smile and say, That’s what I’m talking about! He will bless obedience to His word.

Want to see God move in your life? Start acting like Him. Start moving in the fruits of His Spirit and you’ll get His attention. Wait patiently, live joyfully, and give freely. Good things from God attract more good things from God. Don’t expect to live a perfect life, just ask for more of those fruits. There’s always more.  Ask God to remove anything that prevents you from living a full and abundant life. God wants to see you delightfully happy. Allow Him to make any changes in you for that to happen. Let Him lean in and smile.
