I will give you the treasures of darkness and the hidden riches of secret places. (Is. 45:3) I think that whatever God considers treasure and riches must be pretty awesome, better than anything I can imagine. And He wants to give them to us so we will know Him better. But those things are hidden, so how will we see them?
We have to develop “eyes that see”. Jesus scolded the disciples for talking about not having enough bread. Do you have eyes but fail to see? (Mark 8:17). And the disciples were there watching everything He did. We have the Holy Spirit with us, but we have to open our eyes to see what He is doing. We do that by meditating on Him and learning to hear His voice. When we do, He will throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. (Mal 3:10)
You develop eyes that see when you are in His presence. How do you know if you are in His presence? You can’t miss it. It’s like wondering if the light is on while standing in a lighthouse at night. He’s not hard to find. He said if you look for Him, He’ll be there, right there. Run and find Him and see what hidden treasures He has in His hand. It’ll be awesome.
