When Jesus prayed, on earth as it is in heaven, He revealed a paradigm that should change your life forever. God’s will is done in heaven, full stop. His will, His divine will, is full of His wisdom, His beauty, and His creativity–and it’s available to us today.
We are to pray for His will to be done here because unless we do, it won’t happen. But when we press in, when we want more than an insurance plan against hell, we step in to a kingdom zone that releases power and revelation that this world needs. There is so much more to this life in Christ than we’ve ever know.
There are treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places. (Is 45:3) What you have now, as wonderful and sweet as it is to be saved, is not enough. Go find the hidden treasures. There is so much more. There is the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. (Col 2:2-3)
He has hidden treasures that only those who want more will find. Go after the knowledge of God and you’ll find it. It will be a deeper, wilder, extravagantly richer experience than anything you ever dreamed of. He said to ask for heaven on earth because He wants to give it. You won’t have it unless you ask.
