God knows exactly what it takes to trust in Him. He knows the cost it requires of us–from our families, our work, our friends. Not everyone will see our devotion as good and right. Some will ridicule and sneer, either openly or behind your back. God sees it and will honor you for it.
Uphold me according to Your word, that I may live, and do not let me be ashamed of my hope. (Psa. 119:116) When we stand on the promises of God, He promises to not make us ashamed of our trust in Him. In other words, He won’t allow us to look foolish for believing in Him. He will do what you ask to show His kindness.
I like that God is so considerate. Keep my soul, and deliver me; Let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in You. (Psa. 25:20) The key is putting complete trust in Him. It requires faith in what you do not see. Your trust will be by faith, but the confidence in your spirit will be strong. When you have that, God promises to be right there for you.
Never be afraid that you will be shamed for your faith. You may be ridiculed, but do not accept shame. Stand strong and allow God to work through you. He promised that He will.
