Being wise is the best way to love God and everyone around you.
Wisdom will strip away lies of the enemy. Once you realize what you used to believe was false, you can embrace what is true, and that will lead you to Jesus. I am the way, the truth and the life. (Jhn 14:6) Having a heart of truth will fill you with the love of God. Wisdom will strip away wrong motivations. When you see what your real motivations are, you can let go of the wrong ones and embrace the right ones.
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisyy. (Jam 3:17)
With wisdom, you can clearly understand what is right and true versus what is wrong and a lie and embrace what is in heaven to release it on earth. When you begin to understand God’s heart and His love for you and the people around you, you can’t help but be moved with the same love. Wisdom is kind and gentle, not distant and commanding.
Wisdom from above changes your character to become more Christlike. Not only will it make you kind, you’ll make way better decisions.
