When we live in the secret place of the Most High, when we live under the shadow of His wings, God promises to be with us and protect us. He promises.

The Law Of Giving

A giving heart releases blessing.
When Jesus told the rich young ruler to sell everything, it was to show first where the man’s trust and heart was, but also to show that we need to have a giving spirit. Continue reading
Wholly Holy
Are you peculiar? It’s okay to be. In fact, it is required of you. But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, that you should show forth the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. (1Pet 2:9)
If you have given your heart to Jesus, you belong to Him. You are one of His peculiar people. You can’t carry on like you are not. If your relationship with Him is scheduled to Bible studies, Sunday morning, and saying grace at dinner, then you have no relationship with Him at all. To be peculiar, a holy nation, means that you understand your place in His royal household. Your thought life revolves around the goodness of God and what He is doing. You are called to be holy, all day, every day.
You have to allow yourself to be convicted of the things that prevent holiness from shining in you. You have to embrace all the wonderful gifts of His spirit that change you from glory to glory. Delight yourself in His presence. Soak in deep thoughts of who He is. Look around for signs that He is blessing and working in your life. God has made you holy through the blood of Christ. Living from that mindset draws you closer to the heart of God and wonderful things will come from that.

God Is Really Noisy
We know about God speaking to us in a still, small voice. It’s an aspect of Him that frustrates me sometimes because it makes me stop and wonder, did I just hear Him or not? Maybe that’s why I love it when He gets noisy, Continue reading

Being Perfect Is A Good Thing

No Coincidences With God

God can find treasure anywhere.
Just for kicks, I did a word search through the Bible. Guess what? The word coincidence doesn’t come up. It’s not in the Bible. There’s no coincidence in His word or His plans. Continue reading
Drawn In Deeper
There’s so much we don’t know.
I am baffled by the grace of God. Can it be that He has given us so much and yet we are aware of so little of it? This amazes me: you also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge. (Rom 15:14) How can that be, that we are filled with all knowledge? It doesn’t seem like I know everything. In fact, I’m pretty sure that a lot of what I think I know is wrong and most of what I used to know I’ve forgotten. So how do I account for this very clear statement that I have all knowledge?
