When we give ourselves to Him, He will be all that we need.

I will betroth you to Me forever; yes I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and justice, in lovingkindness and mercy; I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness, and you shall know the Lord. It shall come to pass in that day that I will answer, says the Lord. (Hosea 2:19-21) He’s waiting for a day to come before He answers. Not just any day, but a day when we accept His marriage proposal. We must become His bride.

When we give ourselves to God in righteousness, justice, lovingkindness, mercy, and faithfulness, when we seek Him first, to know Him and love Him, He says, “Now is the day! Now you see what I see and I can answer anything you ask.” At first, it seems impossible to live like that, we are so human. But the Lord actually knows that. He sees what we lack so He gave us what we need. The fruits of the Holy Spirit cover all that He asks of us, so coming to that day is not hard at all. Ask first for the fruits. Seek Him first to love Him. Then ask what you need, and in that day He will answer.
