It’s critical that you define your priorities with God.

Which should you pray for, your pressing need to pay the rent or kindness? Should you ask for a raise or wisdom? A job or generosity? Your condition in life isn’t kept from God. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (Matt 6:32-33) It’s God’s Opposite World again. If you don’t make the house payment, you’ll lose your house, but God says to ask for peace. For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (Rom 14:17) Can you trust Him? Can you let go of your fear and leap into His kingdom and believe that He’ll take care of everything that you have need of? He’s serious. Ask earnestly for love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, wisdom, and mercy. Let Him change your heart and He’ll move heaven and earth to bless you where you need it and more.
