God fills His saints with His glory. Let the saints be joyful in glory, let them sing aloud on their beds. (Ps 149:3) Why would the Lord give glory to us? For the Lord takes pleasure in His people. (Ps 149:4) The Lord will give grace and glory.(Ps 108:1)
It seems blasphemous to think that we carry glory when we should be giving it to God, but God chooses to bless where He will. He blesses the humble and contrite heart, a heart filled with joy. He will give glory to people who give it back to Him. David said, I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. (Ps 84:11) Even with my glory! David knew what was on him and in him. Glory gives unto glory, just as deep calls unto deep. Not everyone has a humble and contrite heart or a heart filled with joy. I think that God has special pleasure in those who walk humbly and joyfully before Him and that pleasure looks like glory. How awesome that we make God happy!
