How Do You Pray To A Trinity? Part Two

God the Father, Cima da Conegliano, Circa 1510-17.

When you think of God the Father, does He make you cringe? Do you automatically assume that He’s planning punishment for you? Can you see Him on His throne at all? If not, it may be because you had a bad relationship with your own father. You need to learn that God is a Father of love. He cares deeply for you. He is safe and He wants you to see Him correctly. Ask Him to heal the wounds that prevent you from knowing Him as you should. You may need to forgive your father, and that doesn’t mean that what ever pain he gave you is ok. You just need to let it go. Receive the healing and peace that your loving Father wants to give you. It will change your life.

How Do You Pray To A Trinity? Part One

Ever wonder who you should be praying to? God the Father, Jesus, the Holy Spirit?  If you pick one, do you offend the other two? Who are you supposed to pray to? Does it say someplace in the Bible? Jesus said, if you’ve seen Me you’ve seen the Father. The Holy Spirit comes into our hearts when we become saved, so should we be talking to Him?  There can be this private awkwardness when it comes to prayer, but I’m pretty sure that we don’t need to stress about it. God is well adjusted enough to not be offended how we pray. In fact, who we pray to can reveal our own need for healing.
