It can seem like no one is home in heaven sometimes. We pray, we wait, we assume that nothing will happen. If that’s the case, then nothing will happen.
Jesus made it very clear that our prayers will be answered. Ask, and it will be given to you. (Mat 7:7) And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive. (Mat 21:22) Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. (Mat 18:19) And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. (Jhn 14:13) If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. (Jhn 15:7) Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. (Jhn 16:24)
Jesus doesn’t lie. When we ask, our prayers will be answered, but under condition: We must believe that He will do what we ask. Jesus must live in our heart. His word must be in us. He will answer the prayers of those who love Him with all their heart, soul, strength, and mind.
When will He answer? How will He answer? That’s up to Him. But He promises that if we believe, He will do what we ask.
