Who Is Jesus? Part 2

the name of JesusTrying to describe God is like trying to describe color to a blind person. He is so many things to us. His depth is so complex. I suspect that not only will we never fully understand Him now, we’ll still be learning about Him through eternity.

The aspect of Jesus as the Word of God amazes me. He is the very voice of creation.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. (Jhn 1:1)

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. (Jhn 1:14)

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than a two-edged sword. (Heb 4:12)

Of course it’s living and powerful. The word of God is Jesus Himself. His word still works today to heal and bless.

Jesus is the Son of God. He is God. He is the Word of God. And He is so much more. Find out who He is personally. You’ll find Him in His word. To know Him is to love Him.
